think dammit!

so, if you were operating a retail store, and you had place (or two) in the roof that leaked every time if rained heavily, but that place was in a large aisle where you didn't have to keep merchandise, would you still keep putting displays of product there? and even if you did, might you think before putting something that really shouldn't get wet there, like boxes of cement mix for making stepping stones? apparently not.

oh, and in trying to move the display out of the way, we totally broke it. not the products, the metal rack thing they sit in/on. i think it would have been less likely to happen if it wasn't one of the ones we rigged together using zip ties. if was annoying at the time, but makes a pretty amusing story. especially watching the manager who actually broke it try to catch it as the side slid off the plastic pallet thing and the whole thing jerked at a funny angle.
